Our Wedding, Part V: Reception at Fox Hollow

Alright, I'm sure you are all sick of the wedding recaps, but I promise this is the last one! And the eye candy is worth the wait because Charolette Winder did an incredible job of capturing our final wedding event--the reception in my hometown.

My mom did an amazing job hosting the party, with the help of some very sweet and talented friends (thank you!). It all came together beautifully.

(The best family in the world. Just saying.)

(My mom designed and sewed these dresses for my sisters. She's superwoman!)

(My baby brothers are the cutest!)

Lastly, my favorite quote about marriage from a man who truly knew:
“The trick, my brethren and sisters, is to enjoy the journey, traveling hand in hand, in sunshine and storm, as companions who love one another."
-President Gordon B. Hinckley

  1. I'm so not sick of your wedding posts! I've loved looking at all your gorgeous pictures. I am crazy about weddings. And yours was so beautiful. I love all the details. Those pictures all clipped on the string, that is adorable! And I am impressed that with all the different photographers, all your pictures have the same look and seem to go together perfectly. They're so great! I love these ones of you and Matt. You guys are such a perfect couple. Oh happy day, I love weddings!

  5. Amen! Love the pictures and the post. You two were meant to be together and it shows. Isn't Heavenly Father amazing the way he makes dreams come true. I have to say about your quote, that the Storms sometimes bring us even closer together than the Sunshine. What a tender mercy from above. Enjoy every ray of sun and every drop of rain! Love ya!

  6. Confession...I've been blog stalking your beautiful wedding. So you aren't completely freaked out, I'll introduce myself. My name is Jo. I played soccer with April (and she is one of my favorite people), and Angie and I are the definition of friends through blogs. I've only heard the best about you and I checked out your blog to find a beautiful wedding and such a crazy engagement. I always appreciate when the silent viewers say something...hopefully you do to. I'll keep checking in...have fun in the south!!
