One of Matt's best friends got married in Idaho last weekend so Jake and I flew out to Utah a week early to play. The trip turned out quite a bit differently than I planned (more on that later), but I still managed to sneak in a little bit of play time. My not-so-little brother Christian took me up to Snowbird for a mini-snowboarding session on a beautiful Saturday morning. It was so much fun just hanging out with him, and the fact that I (finally!) learned how to carve was just icing on the cake. My brother should really be a snowboard instructor. Thanks again for the lesson, Kiken!
Utah is so pretty. |
Awww looks like fun! I am glad you got some time together!!! Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love Utah and I love the mountains and I love Snowbird and I love snowboarding and i love you! So lots to love about this post. :) I am impressed with your documentation abilities, you even got good pictures on a day on the slopes! I wish I was as good about taking pictures as you, I am getting way too lazy. :) For now I will appreciate that I can live vicariously through your pictures! I feel like I was there on the slopes with you! The pictures of those mountains.... my heart is all a-flutter. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face!
ReplyDeletep.s. and when the heck did Christian get so HUGE? The 8-year-olds are getting married and the 5-year-olds are graduating high school... what is happening here?! It's crazy. I feel so old.
ReplyDeleteUm....you and Christian could be twins. I never realized how much you looked alike until I saw that first photo of the two of you standing on your boards. It must be the beanies, and how they are shaping your faces.
