"Somebody fought I was Anakin."

I LOVE trick-or-treating with my baby brothers. Since I thought last year would be my last Halloween with my family for a long time, the fact that I got to stop in Utah this time was a major bonus!

The babies were more into Halloween than ever before, thanks to the awesome coordinating Star Wars costumes my mom made.

Heidi and the babies have Star Wars characters that they refer to each other as on a daily basis, so for Halloween they were simply *ahem* "themselves." Kaleb was Luke Skywalker, Josh was Obi Wan Kenobi (braid included!), Gabe was Darth Vader, and Heidi was Padme.

Our trick-or-treating party had two adults per baby. But can you blame us? It's just too fun to watch them excitedly run up to each door and show off their little costumes.
(That is, until they get too tired and resort to the stroller.)
We all had a blast! Well, except for that one time Josh suddenly started sulking as he walked down the street. When I asked him what was wrong, my little Obi Wan looked up at me with sad eyes and through a teary voice said, "Somebody fought I was Anakin!"
I explained that "somebody" probably just didn't know about Star Wars people, but Josh insisted that wasn't true 'cause: "FIRST, they fought I was Luke, and THEN they fought I was Anakin!" He was so worried that people didn't know that he was Obi Wan Kenobi. It was so cute! Luckily, all it took was a few compliments on his costume and a couple pieces of candy to get over the Anakin incident.

You've gotta love kids on Halloween.
