Fresh off the heels of visiting Hiram the night before, Matt and I shared an incredible Sunday in Kirtland last week. We enjoyed visiting all the key historic sites and remembering all the wonderful things that happened there. We feel so blessed to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for the opportunity that we had to reconnect with our rich heritage.

To learn (or relearn!) what happened at each location, just click on the links!

  1. Do you know Dani Talbot? She is serving there.. I love the NK Whitney Store, I didnt really enjoy the temple. I think I was having a hard time with us not owning it and what they used it for.. Still very pretty. did you get a chance to go watch the movie in the vistor center? Looks like you guys are enjoying life=)

  2. I have always wanted to visit Kirtland. The Community of Christ will be cash-strapped soon and will offer to sell the Kirtland Temple to the LDS church for Millions of dollars. I think it is well worth the price. Lets show em' the money! I can't wait till our Church buys it, restores it, and then dedicates it. It will happen soon.

I was a little bummed that the Nellis air show did not feature any Stealth planes. Looking through your photos I see you had a fly-over of a B2 bomber. And they also had an SR71 on exhibit for you. That would be cool to see those. For some reason, they didn't show any Stealth Fighters or Bombers at the Vegas show. Maybe next year....

  3. What a great day spent with your honey. That would've been so neat. I loved all the pics! You guys always look perfect in your pictures.
