I'm only 2.5 months behind on this, but hey! That's what happens when every technological thing that you own crashes. Better late than never, right? Here's Jakey's 12-month update. His actual birthday will be next -- finally!
Here's my handsome guy on his one-year birthday:
And one year before:
That boy kills me with his cuteness. And it kills me how fast he's grown!

He is such a sweet little one-year-old.
Jake actually had a crazy busy 12th month, with summer activities and moving out-of-state and all. Here are a few favorite pictures from that month:
Visiting Daddy's office and his old NASA stomping grounds. |
Becoming the master of peek-a-boo. |
Enjoying the last few days in his nursery. |
Strolling around the neighborhood. |
Playing in the bath. |
Modeling for his birthday party invitations. |
Loving the beach. |
Making messes during packing, of course. |
Helping Daddy get the house ready for the move. |
The fair and Disneyland. |
Taking family pictures on our favorite family beach. |
Moving from California to Utah. |
Playing with hats and rocks. |
Crossing his first finish line after Matt's half ironman. |
Brigham City Temple open house and riding trusty ol' "Dusty." |
And a happy birthday party, of course! |
Love how you captured his 1 - 12 months pictures on the bed =]

ReplyDeleteI love the different photos you have of different stages in his life!
ReplyDeleteWhat was the name of the postcard company that you used to send out Jake's birthday party invitations?
ReplyDeleteOh dang, could he get any cuter?! Nope!
ReplyDeleteDusty the horse still rides! He lived in our basement for many years and was our kids' favorite until they got too big. Good to see the next generation enjoying him!
