Color!

We woke up bright and early on Saturday morning to get a bright and colorful little workout.
The Color Run is billed as the "Happiest 5K on the planet," and I whole-heartedly agree. It was so much fun! A 5K goes by crazy fast when you're dancing and doing cartwheels through tunnels of colorful chalk every kilometer. And who wouldn't want to kick off their weekend with a big post-race chalk party? Good morning to you, too, Saturday!

    I've heard about the Color Run and thought it sounded awesome. Seeing your photos and videos of it makes it look even more awesome. I will definitely have to sign up!

    P.S. This is probably a random question, but I'm assuming you took the videos on an iPhone... What protective case did you use to keep the pigment from getting in your phone?

    Your pictures make it look so fun! There is also a "Color Me Rad" run that is very similar, maybe it comes to your town too if you enjoyed this one!

    I'm still laughing about it, too, Shay! He is so fun.

    The 5K was actually in Salt Lake City. We had wanted to do Color Me Rad in Bakersfield in June but were on vacation that week so it didn't work out. And the Dirty Dash sold out before we could sign up! A mud run is definitely in our future though :)

    Kami- Malia is going to LOVE it! All of the kids there were in absolute heaven.

    Oh! And Bailey-- we actually used our little point-and-shoot. We have a waterproof case for it so we just brought that along. But if there's a case like that for our iPhones, we're totally in!
