Brigham City Temple
Yesterday a new temple was dedicated in Matt's small hometown. The Brigham City Temple is amazingly beautiful, as is the purpose that it will serve. And while every new temple is exciting, like President Packer said yesterday, "This is Brigham City, so it's special." Brigham City has a rich pioneer heritage and it's neat to think of what it must mean to those pioneers to now have a temple in the town that they settled and loved. Matt, Jake and I walked through the temple with his entire family when we first arrived in Utah a few weeks ago, and yesterday, Matt and I attended its dedication service with my family. It was such a happy occasion.
PS: Ever wonder what a Mormon temple looks like inside? You can see pictures of the Brigham City temple here. It's so pretty! And if there's ever a new temple being built in your area, there will be an open house that the entire public -- regardless of religion -- is invited to attend when the temple is completed.

It was such a great dedication service. We attended the second session. So glad to be in Utah so that we could participate in it.

I didn't know Matt was from Brigham City. For some reason I thought he was a Davis Dart out of Layton.
