I hope you all had an amazing holiday weekend! Matt and I were lucky enough to get to celebrate Labor Day and my birthday with a 4-day staycation here in Southern California. It was one of my most fun birthdays yet! We started off with some intense one-on-one soccer, a delicious breakfast made by Matt, and a birthday cake for brunch. Usually we save the cake and such for the end of the day, but we had some bigger plans at the Happiest Place on Earth!
I am most definitely not ashamed to admit that I was super excited to spend my 23rd birthday at Disneyland. And when we bought our passes and they handed over this little gem, I was most definitely not too cool to wear it. After all, everyone said birthday pins were magical! As it turns out, they sure are--not only did I have dozens of people wishing my happy birthday all day, but this pin earned me the best seats on all my favorite rides. It pretty much rocked.
We went to Disneyland twice over the weekend and also spent some quality time at Balboa Island and on the beach, of course. It was a blast! And once I sort through the hundreds of pictures we took in the last four days, I'll be happy to tell you all about it :-)
Girls born in September are the best kind of girls born:)

ReplyDeleteDisneyland for your birthday? Doesn't get better than that!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I decided who you look like and remind me of....drumroll....Erin Andrews! Talk about a sporty girl with a mega watt smile!
That sounds like a very awesome way to spend your happy day! I love your shirt! Where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Sound like it was a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! It sounds like a fabulous time!
ReplyDeleteYours and Matt's lives are filled with nothing but PLAY PLAY PLAY! And I'm SO DARN JEALOUS about it!!! Happy Birthday though! :)
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I hope you're keeping the birthday button. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you commented on my blog about this weekend's game, because I was just thinking about it this morning and I was going to text you and ask you who you were cheering for this weekend! We're on the same page. :) That's a bummer you won't be at the game in person for the first time in so long! It's so much better being there huh? This will be our first season in a long time that we won't make it to any games, last year we were there over thanksgiving. It's still fun to watch on TV though. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday wishes! And Sara, that's basically the nicest compliment ever in my book haha. I've always dreamed of being a sideline reporter, and she's my favorite one!
