I have the best mom in the entire world. (Yes, even better than yours. Sorry!)
She is the most selfless, loving, talented, spiritual, beautiful and just downright fun woman that I know, and someday I hope to be just like her (as evidenced here.)My mom is my honest-to-goodness best friend and role model. I'm so lucky to have her!
I was also blessed with amazing grandmas, aunts, and "second moms," and can't let this Sunday go by without telling all of the moms in my life how much I love each of you! Happy Mother's Day!
Your mom really is like superwoman. She is awesome! Happy Mothers Day! What would we do without our moms?!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with what Angie said! I love Barbara!! And I love my mom so much too! It's fun to have "mother's day" each year to celebrate these special women in our lives!!
ReplyDeleteYour mom is pretty awesome.. Look who she raised (that would be you)..
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful mother and a wonderful family!! I am so grateful that I've had the opportunity to get to know her throughout the last 8 years of my life and to have you as a best friend! I'm so excited to see you in 5 weeks and to have you here in my wedding and in the temple for our sealing. I love you Ash! Tell your mom Happy Mother's Day for me.
ReplyDeleteI have so much respect for you sweet mom! I think about her often and wonder how she does it all! She should sprout a cape or wings or something so others would know of her super powers! Of course it is evident in all that she does!
ReplyDeleteWe have all said in the family many times how much Barbara continues to accomplish in her life. My dad told me once that Barbara is a living example of a "pioneer woman who brought her family across the plains". Not many people could have done that. Growing up in the church we are always amazed at how the pioneers did it; it must have required so much courage, faith and perseverance. Well, Barbara has that level of fortitude, character, and optimism that make it possible.
ReplyDeleteAs I struggle to find the patience to raise my 4th child, I keep thinking...Barbara has done this NINE TIMES! That thought usually humbles me and then I get back to work.
