The past week was a bit of a roller coaster for my alma mater. If you don't know why, just google "BYU basketball" and the internet will fill you in. Thankfully, Jimmer and the Cougs won yesterday to wrap up the regular season. We have high hopes for the MWC tournament and the big dance! But this post isn't about basketball; it's about volleyball. BYU men's volleyball team, which is ranked #2 in the nation, traveled to #1-ranked USC last night so we tagged along with our California family to cheer on the Cougars.
Let me tell you, it was some quality volleyball! Both teams were incredible and it came down to the fifth set ... And that's where this post will end because you don't really need to know the outcome of the game, right? Go Cougs.
I'm glad that BYU is sticking to their guns. It's sad for the rest of the basketball team though. I think sometimes we think tend to think that our actions don't affect others. But that's simply not true.
