The day before Summer was due, we decided to squeeze in a last-minute trip to the zoo with my family. Despite a sunny morning and a forecast that showed clear skies until 8 p.m., it started sprinkling just after we arrived at 4 p.m. And then it started really raining. And then came the torrential downpour. We ran from exhibit to exhibit, pushing the stroller and holding hands and getting drenched along the way. It was so much fun! Happy little memories, you know?

| We capped off the night with a little dinner date at Pizza Factory with Jake (um, apparently the waitress didn't think he needed to be in the picture). It was a lovely little day. |
